We have seen the ogr2gui already in the Chapter 1, Importing Spatial Data. Since its interface is self-explanatory, I will not really elaborate on it here, but instead, as a reminder, I'll provide the following screenshot:

While for some the ogr2logui may seem a nice helper, it has some limitations, and in order to fully utilize the ogr2ogr goodies, one has to use it in a command-line environment.
