Requests for Comments

Requests for Comments (RFCs) are documents issued by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) at the Network Information Center (NIC). Each such document defines an aspect of protocol surrounding the Internet. RFCs are available via the Web and anonymous FTP from http://www.ietf.org. A nearly complete list of all email-related RFCs is available from http://www.imc.org/rfcs.html.
